Section 16. It shall be the duty ofthe Executive Board tosupervise and direct the management of this Local Union. It shall examine all expenditures on an itemized basis. Its members shall consist of the officers of the Local Union. The President shall be the Chairperson.
The Executive Board shall meet in regular session at least once each month. Special meetings may be called by the President when deemed necessary or by a majority of the votes ofthe Executive Board members. A majority of the Board members shall constitute a quorum to transact business. It shall be the duty of all Executive Board members to attend all Executive Board meetings.
Board members shall be off duty the first Monday of each month for Executive Board meetings, and shall be required to attend the Monday night or Tuesday morning union meeting. They shall receive pay at straight time for their respective runs or shift. The Executive Board of this Local Union shall be authorized in cases of emergency to order a Free Will Collection for needy members. The Executive Board will at all times conduct the business of the Local Union in conformity with the International Constitution and General Laws of the Amalgamated Transit Union and the By-Laws of this Local Union.
None but Executive Board members shall be present at a meeting of this board except an International Officer. The Executive Board, by vote, may allow non Board members into Board meetings for a specific purpose.

Section 10. The officers of the Local Union, shall be
the President (who shall be Chairperson), the VicePresident,
the 2nd Vice-President Maintenance
Miscellaneous Departments, Financial SecretaryTreasurer,
the Recording Secretary, three (3) members
from the MARTA Transportation Department, two (2)
members from MARTABus Maintenance (to include the
Bus Maintenance, Bus Service, Blockout, and Bus Stores
Departments), one (1) member from MARTA Rail
Maintenance (to include the Rail Maintenance, Rail
Service, and Rail Stores Department), one member from
Para transit, one (1) member from MARTA Facility
Maintenance (to include Facility Maintenance, Facility
Service, and Facility Stores Departments), one (I)
member from the MARTAMiscellaneous Departments
(to include Clerical, Print Shop, Traffic Checkers,
Revenue Collection and Security Departments), and one
(I) member from each non MARTA properties (Cobb
County Transit and Gwinnett Transit) represented by the
Local Union.
No officer of this Union shall have the authority to
sign any labor agreement, any agreement making changes
or modifications to a labor agreement, or any other
agreement that affects the membership as a whole that
has not been first presented and voted on by the
Membership of this Local Union in secret ballot.
Sufficient notice ofany such presentation and vote shall
be given to the Union membership.
The nomination to fill the position ofthe Second Vice
President, MaintenanceMiscellaneous Department, shall
be at the discretion of the membership. This decision
shall be made at the nominating meeting in November.
